AddThis Social Bookmarking – Help your visitor promote your site! The AddThis Social Bookmarking Widget allows any visitor to bookmark your site easily with many popular services. Sign up for an AddThis.com account to see how your visitors are sharing your content–which services they’re using for sharing, which content is shared the most, and more. It’s all free–even the pretty charts and graphs. I use this plugin to just provide website visitors with the pretty social networking buttons, and use Google Analytics to track the social relationship, as we discussed last week in this blog post.
All in One SEO Pack – Out-of-the-box SEO for your WordPress blog. Provides you with a nice one stop shop for configuring SEO options so your blog can be found!
Contact form 7 – A very flexible, automated contact form plugin for WordPress that lets you create custom contact forms for emailing.
Google XML Sitemaps – This plugin will generate a special XML sitemap which will help search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing and Ask.com to better index your blog.
Dynamic Widgets – Dynamic Widgets gives you full control on which pages your widgets will appear. It lets you dynamicly show or hide widgets on WordPress pages. For instance, one of my clients wants a banner ad widget for a particular product line to only appear on a particular category of blog posts. This widget brings that detailed level of control.
Jetpack by WordPress.com – Bring the power of the WordPress.com cloud to your self-hosted WordPress. Jetpack enables you to connect your blog to a WordPress.com account to use the powerful features normally only available to WordPress.com users.
